The Battlefords area was without an organized Search and Rescue team for almost ten years.  Working with Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (Learn about SARSAV here), Nathan Bartholomew and Devin King were excited for this opportunity to re-establish SAR and provide the Canadian CSA Standard search training to new members.

On March 14th, 2020, Battlefords Search and Rescue was officially accepted as a SARSAV Chapter during their annual general meeting.
